This whole PR thing what an obsession.

It really doesn't mean much anymore.

Traffic is where its at.

I see change coming look at the competitve results just after the PR change, so did the competitive results. They all decreased.

Of course there is some correlation between SEPRS and PR.

How do you improve the ranking of a website?

You build a well optimised website
You add unique content on a regular basis
You build high quality inbound links.

PR is linked to links, so is SEPRS.

I guess the fact my website is listed on page 1 for one of the most competitive terms there is, it shows I have an understanding of the subject.

However persuading people in public forums is pointless, they will go there own way regardless.

Some site got dropped on Pagerank but I think this is not a big deal for them in terms of traffic. Remember that PR has no direct connection to traffic and SERP.

You mean.. if the site has a good ranking. you definitely have traffic. a traffic where came from your link to the other site whereas consider BL.. is that what you mean? so. PR-SERp-traffic has a relation to each other...

Down 1 point in two blogs. Traffic almost the same (may be a little higher). I agree with EdC: PR is nothing more than an obsession. Nowadays, I believe PR has no relevance.

I don't think traffic volume suffer if pr fall, traffic doesn't come pr. Loss of PR may only lead to loosing place in search engine result. more attention should be on seo

the web is always growing up... and page rank scale range it's always 1 -10, regardless. So i guess is absolutely normal to have a change (disminution) in pr of lots of sites without a SERP's major change. If you didn't understand go to pr definition once again
