Are invalid impressions a problem?

Since I cannot get my Wamp server working at home, (for reasons I don't need to get into,) I am forced to view my page edits online with live pages. Some more major edits can take hours of tweaking, uploading, and viewing over and over again. I am sure this is causing a lot of invalid impressions on my AdSense account. This will likely continue in the coming months as I make more modifications.

Here’s the question.
AdSense won’t give me the boot for too many of these impressions, will they?
(I do get paid by clicks.)

These impressions are not a breach of the TOS of AdSense. However they will affect your eCPM and your CTR.

Why not do your developing on a subdomain and then copy it over to the main domain when finished?

Never thought of that.

My website software license key must be "domain dependent" somehow. They did want the Domain when I registered for the license, and then it generated a key. I think this is why I cannot make it run local. But hmm, you might be onto something there.

I'll try it. Thanks!
