Page 2 then nowhere, then Page 2 then nowhere

Hi Guys and Gals,

I recently launched a blogspot (www.wine90.blogspot.com) and initially it appeared on the 2nd page for the keytern "Italian Wine Blog", a few days later I was unable to find the blog at all even by typing in the full URL, it seemed Google had dropped it.

On Sunday the blog was back on page 2, and low and behold, I check today and its completely missing again. What the diddley-o?

What can I do to make the blog listed with google, and stay listed?

You don't have any control over this you need to keep working on adding content and getting links, just because you get to a spot in any position it does not move in a linear fashion, down a spot up a few etc...

I find this to be the case often, disappears completely then I find it somewhere else. Who ever your competing against in that space is what dictates what is going on all the time. They may do lots to change and what the engines read at that particular time affects what you will do and if your not changing and adding value you go.

So don't worry keep doing what got you there don't sit on your backside, who knows maybe page one next time you find it.

Is your site already been crawled? If not, this one often really happens because your site is still in Sandbox and not yet been crawled!

That's normal for a newly created blog or site. Link building is the first thing you have to do after making your site up so the caching and indexing will take faster than the usual.

well, don't judge your own site if that is a new site. just keep do promotion for your site. you will get the better result later.

Remember that you are not the only one using the internet and doing blogging. There are millions of people competing everyday for their keywords. Check your keyword and see the number of search results. There you will know how high is your targeted keyword.

There is a google terms for what is happening to you blog, just can't remeber it at the moment. This will happen for about a week or so before you site has a stable and steady listing, from what you said, you site will eventually be listed on page 2 of SERP.

you will have your site indexed and be in SERP's in no time.
