Robots.txt: It's where it needs to be, Google doesn't see it?!
I just created a robots.txt

charlottecomfortsystems.com/robots.txt

obviously, it's there, it's in the top level. Yet, when I try to analyze it in Google Webmaster Tools, Google returns a 404 error when it tries to find it. However, it has the link the right there to the file, and when you click on it, the file displays.


This is driving me nuts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

May not be the case, check the permission settings on the file.
