Well.... that's not always the case. Check out this site of mine, I delibrately altered the text colour of the Google Ads to attract visitors. It was advised by one of the consultants, and I think it worked to a certain extent.

The funny thing is that color really really works. I have no idea why. But i've noticed some adsense stuff just makes me want to click it.

I have 2 sites, and one site the color just pops with the ads, and the other...not so much. I'm working on it though.

Yes, good advice indeed. It got me to thinking though...

I wonder if the 160x600 skyscraper ads are more popular simply because they fit better into more professional web sites and blogs. And they (the pro sites) would be the ones with the most traffic which further inflates the statistics.

Oh well. I don't mean to hijack your thread. I was just curious.

you don't really need to submit your site to SEs because it will naturally crawl and index your site as long as it has the contents that is worth crawling for. No need for this, its wasting time for more important things.

Basically..it works like this....

Now more and more pplz know that these adds( adsense ads) are an advertisement from google. and a very little care to click on them...So we should blend them in such a way that user thinks its a normal link from the website.
Link units blends very well( IMO) and we can try it for text units too..

I think the link color of your ads must be same with links running in your website.It increases chances of clicking on it.
