How I can report duplicate content to Google?
Is there any way to report duplicate content to Google? Some of the websites are putting exact content as mine on their pages without giving me any credit.
I've mailed them to remove it. They assured me for removal. But still I see the content live on their pages. Can I take any legal action?

yeah that sucks, i had it done to me 2 months ago, was a real prick. check the legal section, thats where my post ended up and there was some really helpful feedback.

just another reason to stop blogging.

Well i can understand your problem , even i was doing something like this to a guy who was putting his content , i use to copy it and use it on my webpage .
later the guy reported it to google and my pr and all traffic reduced .

But later i found a way , i use 2 copy his content and paste it on my site .(This time my content was getting indexed before than his site) nowi can claim that the content belongs to me .

It was great . So we have to check the website is it new or not , if it new it will be OK . But old you will be in trouble. Better idea just read the content and understand well and type by yourself . So it will be changed. same subject is not duplicate content.

Another suggestion before submitting the DMCA letter. Take a unique line of text from your website. Search for it on Google using quotations. Most sites that are indexed with your content will appear.

Its sneeky so i kinda like it, and serves him right for stealing your info, but do you really want to display his dribble on your site, chances are he stole it from some poor bastard working a double trying to get his kids through college.
