Yup, I go for social book markings and classifieds but it will give not a long tern traffic. While doing this focus on your SERP which will give a long term traffic for your site.

If you have to increasing traffic in your site, then you have to first social bookmarks in best sites like digg and propeller, and you have to do submission in search engine friendly directories (You can get directories list from directorycritic.com)..
