Make certain you at least have a couple of links pointing to your site. Also, is your site still in the sandbox? You might want to do a quick search to see what that is and if your site is there.

Normally like your links Mario, but that one is just dribble, its a page filler, there is absolutely 0 helpful information. I read the whole thing without finding any information which is beneficial @ all.

Try this link

forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=71522

Dont just read the post, read the comments, half way down page one there is some really helpful info.

First make sure your site has good clean content.
Create an XML sitemap and submit it to Google Webmaster central.
Get incoming links from blogs, directories or forums.

Wait few days (7-10) and check Google again site:www.yourdomain.tld

If you are aiming for a competitive niche, be prepared for long term promotion... Even on Adwords (some can get quite expensive unless you spend a lot of time tuning tuning and tuning)

If you are very concerned about your visibility in Google, and want fast results, Go for Adwords.

If not follow the advice others gave and be patient.
