Website listed or not on Google even after months

Have you checked that your website still has listed or not after 4-6 months in Google among top ranks for your selected keywords, if not then check below may be the rasons for not getting listed on google-

Wrong keywords selection may be the reason for the problem. If you target keywords having high competition, then it will be too difficult and take very long time to get listed among to rankings in google.

If you looking for higher rankings for highly competitive keywords, then you need a lot of high quality backlinks for your site contains your main keywords as anchor text.

If you have targeted a general term as keywords having one or two words then you need to reconsider them because targeting one word as keyword often don't help your site to get well rank because these keywords are too general.

It will be better to use a keyword phrase or three- four keywords because that are much more likely to get well rank on search engines.

I never try to optimise for one keyword, always try to get 3-4 or 5 as a phrase especially if competition is high.

very good, especially for new websites.
First you get the rang for long phrase, while you build your incoming links based on that (directories, forums signature), then you start looking for short phrase (main keywords) incoming links (probably blogs), similar or related content websites.

Why do you think it is a copy/paste?
Anyways, my sites are listed and they have only been up since november. i don't even know what I did.
