Gmail system is declining for the first time

Google claims the amount of spam entering the company's Gmail system is declining for the first time in years, raising hopes that a corner has been turned in the battle against junk mail.

Although the level of spam remains alarmingly high - more than 70% of the messages arriving on Gmail servers are junk - the proportion of spam messages has dipped significantly over the past year.

i love google, hate to say anything bad.. but things seem like that... lots of spam in my mail box!!

I like Gmail but most of the time it won't even work. It will say disconnected from server or something along those lines.

Great to hear, but yeah like said before it's in beta and still many glitches to yank out. I still use it and love how it catches EVERYTHING.

Gmail is good however attaching files are very time consuming.

Also its feature of chat with friends while checking mails is good enough to attract any one.......isn't it.......?

I'm using gmail but didn't notice something wrong about it at the time. I like the fast pace of sending gmail does, unlike other emails...

Yeah agree with that! But am not fond of using the chat box there.. I still prefer the YM when chatting with my friends..

Yes.....it is and also it loads quicker than others and even if your net is very down you can check emails in its HTML view too.

I like its ability to refresh the inbox without manually having to do it. Some of my real mail however sometimes gets tagged as spam and I have to go hunting for it in the abyss that is the spam folder.

Ys, gmail is easy enough to use but attaching the file is very difficult.

Gmail is good but will face many security issue like attaching and spamming and even sometime log in too. I think they r not much concentrating in MAIL and Chat etc.. They r on SE only..

Well.......I will say that alls are good, no one is bad....it is all about your choice and everyone is free to use any one like Gmail, yahoo or AOL etc whichever he find better for him........
