I had a PR 5 I gained 3 PR6 links and 1 PR7 link and went to a 4. What is up with that?

General tweaking I would imagine, every few months Google seems to drop every site by 1 PR point. I think it would need to do this really so that all of a sudden there are not 1million PR 10 sites around..

humm, I gained like 3 PR6 links and a PR7 link and I went from a Pr5 to a PR4. Something is not right. Has anyone else seen any weird behavior?

Yes, some very weird behaviour. But in the last update, my site (and several other similar ones) went up to PR7, which was clearly wrong. I think Google made some mistakes in their last tweaking, and have now rectified the problems. We have all gone back to a more realistic PR6.

Backlinks to my site (which are obviously increasing all the time) are now shown as 98 instead of 408. So Google is making some internal adjustments, obviously.

Google no longer says "no information is available" for my site, which is nice!

Oh, and some of my internal pages (like the privacy policy? duh....) got PR6 last time! They have gone back to more sensible PR0-4.
