Google search results sub index.

Hi guys,

Can anyone clue me in regarding the search result that has right below it a list of sub categories?

Is it something we can do ourselves or is this something that google has done?

type in Virgin Media for an example.

Thanks

Steve

I think what you are talking about are called site links. If so, my understanding is that it takes time and authority for G to credit you with those.

those links are called site links. obviously, they are the links which happens to be some sections of the main site.

really got no idea on how Google look onto this type of indexing. but one thing is for sure, its not that common in SERPs so I can say that its hard to do something like this.

Google does that themselves, if they think that subcategories are required they will add it to the search engines view of your website
