Adsence page impressions not adding up

Hi all,

I've just been doing one of my daily advertising spend reports, and have noticed something which i can't quite work out with AdSence.

Basically its like this, AdSence is telling me that today i've 2page impressions. I have the adsence code on all pages, both static pages, and dynamic pages, which uses the php include command for the header.

My Adword Campaign has delivered 7 unique visitors, and when i was online in the admin section for part of the site about an hour ago there were 4 people online in addition to myself.

From looking at some other advertising i've got running, i've received 20 other unique visitors this morning, so by my calculations this is nearly 30 visitors, which should = a min of 30 page impressions, unless i've really lost the plot.

Anybody any ideas?

AdSense's stats always seem to be way behind those of AdWords....just something I've noticed...don't know if that could be the problem...

I've just taken another look at AdSence and at my AdWords account, cause this is really annoyin me!!

I know my daily click through rate has been increasing during the past week, but...

I went through my AdWords campaign as i don't normally blow a whole days budget in the space of 1 hour like i did today. Results...

I've had a click through rate of 48% from one keyword phrase, which was shown 15 times, now this has happened in the space of 1 hour today and i've had no other click through from any other ads. Additionally this particular ad is ranked 35 for "web design uk", and with AdSence now showing only 3 page impressions i'm starting to get slightly suspicious.

Am i reading to much into this?

What do people think?

Any thoughts, or ideas would be great.

My understanding is that AdSense stats are updated at midnight PST. So check the stats for a day or two ago. These results are not real time by a long shot.

Thanks for the info, i've just done a quick report for the period 20 - 26 april and thats showing more realistic page impressions for the traffic that has been going through.

I guess it threw me a bit today and i wasn't sure what was more of a concern the fact that adsence wasn't showing up any page impressions, which i couldn't explain until you kindly made me realise something i should have thought about all along, or that my entire adwords budget went in the space of one hour, on the same keyword phrase

Oh well, i guess we get days like this lol
