My Site Is On The First Page Of Google

Hey guyz My site is appearing on the first page of Google for the keyword "revenue sharing blog sites" and its on the third page for "paid blogging sites" , "Best money making oportunities".

Its on the first page for another keyword which is not that competive "best money opportunities" .

Does "revenue sharing blog sites" has a lot of searches a month? If yes, then its good for you and it will definitely bring you a volume of organic traffic which all seo prefer than a referring sites,. If not I think its useless, because being on top with a useless KW is useless,. it won't give you a traffic if no one is using that KW

I think those terms are not your actual keywords that you use. maybe those are terms that a certain people might search specifically...

if your phrases were actually frequently searched then
you would have gotten yourself a pretty good spot

but it does not seem that way

I know that these phrases dont bring taffic - but I was just happy to see my site on the first page thats it. Anyways on the other hand I am working on the keywords which has a higher search engine value and lets see how it goes.....

And if you would like to share any ideas with me I would be glad to hear that.

Having great rankings for phrases you have not optimized for, it happens, but only for terms which are not searched. If the were then, rest assured, competition would be just around the corner.

Again, only rankings which bring in traffic matter. Sure, indexed websites rank at the top position for their URL, but that doesn't mean that any traffic comes out of it

Not much....I actually didnt do much of my homework before optimizing for this keyword.Now I know that I should first find out how many times a particular keyword is searched before optimizing for it....lets see how it goes for the keywords which I am optmizing for......

Try to maintain your rankings....one day you will lose it if you will not maintain your keyword ranking....

Yaa sure.....I guess I already lost it...my site no more appears on first page.Its a strange thing which is happening with my site....1 month back it was on 1st page for the same keyword and then went down to 5th then again went up to first and then slipped down now....dont know wat google is upto.

You should join Google Analytics to see how often these terms send you clicks through Google (and others).
