Google buys DoubleClick for $3 Billion

OK, it's been touted for a while but I've heard the deal has finally, properly gone through. This should mean a much better service for advertisers with Google and webmasters carrying ads. The standard Google model is to buy something really useful and then just offer it to people. Sounds good to me.

It will be interesting to see what this means.

I know the FTC just closed the Google-DoubleClick investigation, so when did the deal go through?

I surely hope that customer service is better. It is lacking right now but it's probably because of how busy they are.

That is a lot of money. And Google may become bigger and bigger.

Well, for travelling around the universe you'd need way more than 3 billion dollars and i am not sure if you would be able to go much far (at least with current space technologies)
