Most important page out of Google index
Ok, I looked high and low to find out what the hack is going on.
One of my websites (more than 5 years old) has pages in Google and ranks very well for certain keywords.

Last week I noticed one of my very important page is not indexed any longer for some reason.

I checked duplicated content - found nothing
I logged into the webmaster central - no messages
checked back-links - nothing unusual
haven't done link building for a long time now
haven't touch the page for the least 3 months
The website still ranks in the SERPS so I don't think is a penalty

The only thing left is to figure out if the page has been "Bowling via Proxy" but I will say is too early .

Any ideas guys?

You say you haven't touched the page in three months so that must be it. You need to add some new content at least once a month

I suggest that make a few content changes on the page. Generate the sitemap and submit again.

3 months is not a long time to have a page without changes so i doubt it would be that. i have had pages not updated for years still sitting in no 1 spots.

If the information is still current and relevant, it is still worthy.

If you are syaing it's not indexed anymore, just leave it, it's more than likely a glitch and will come back soon.

Any chance you could PM me the page and i'll have a look, but i don't think you have much to worry about if you still have other pages from the same domain indexed.

Thanks guys.
I have updated the page and created a new sitemap which I have submitted to Google.

It could be a glitch on SE side of things and I probably just worry for nothing.
I will keep at it and let you know what happened if I ever find out.
