You can monitor your site using google webmaster tools. Try it.
hostgator is one of my favorite choice for web hosting. They allowed unlimited domain hosting within one account. very cheap.
YAHOO is another reliable option for hosting but expensive.

I agree, sending a reconsideration request from a Google webmasters tools account will usually get a site re-indexed properly.

It's a shame what happend to this fellow.

Hi,

You're not in that much trouble. I analysed your top keyword phrase, against the competition (you will have to do it for each).

Here's an analysis of your site comapred to the number one site and the top 5 in google.

http://www.netzonefl.com/1/prioritymoving.htm

My question is this - why do you provide links to other sites?
That's like getting a customer in your store and telling them there's a great sale down the street. NEVER entice visitors to leave your site.........

Do some basic seo - you're competiton is easy to beat.

If you're in the moving business stay focused - link farmers are dorks

One more thing - are you sure Google is the best engine for you?

75+ % of all online purchases are made by women (home products), Most women use MSN.
I haven't done the demographics on who searches for movers, but women have the deciding input in 85% of the purchasing decision.

Here's a little tid-bit for you to give you an idea how demographics can help form a marketing plan -

60 percent of movers stay within the same county, while 83 percent relocate within the same state.

I have seen and had the same issue with apollohosting. The issue as I have researched it is with the fact that it is "shared" hosting. The shared hosting platform supposedly has a way for the bad people to enter your site via an exposed site on the same shared server. I am not an expert but it sure sounds like a possibility to me. The best solution would be to change to a new host which may or may not have the same problem. You can also look into using a non-shared or private type of hosting. This should be more secure as it is also more expensive. You get what you pay for! I am sure the point about a Front Page vulnerability is worth looking into as well though....

Backlinks will only hurt you. Just what you need - links to sites that may be spamming and you don't know about it....

Google very rarely bans, they do drop your positions, but if you add some unique content and behave yourself you will get back up there.

I wish I knew what times they put on offenses, sorry a month maybe 3. I can tell you what linking to a spammer will get you tho....

Forextips lost most all positions in Yahoo and MSn and Google is dropping it like a rock because it linked to a spammer site (their sales site), will they ever get it back, probably not because the first thing they will do is start posting links.....bad move unless you're sure of who you're linking to and what they do. IF you are in the badboy list, you don't need to call a spammer or worst as a charactor witness......lol

The next thing you need to do is get away from FTP. Get on a windows host and use webdav or fpse. I can hack any ftp in 24 hours.
