how come it isn't showing on google anymore?

When i use to type paid to click promote, & paid to click paid to read paid to promote in google my site would show up on the first page of google. But over the past few days when you enter those keywords it isn't even in the top 500. I added a couple more links to my site recently and a bit more text, thought maybe my keyword density was too high so google might class it as spamming but when i changed it back to how it was, my website still doesn't appear in top 500 with those search terms. I have altered the title on 1 or 2 other pages but not the ptc 1, so any1 have any ideas why i'm no longer getting page 1 rankings for those terms? I guess it is pretty impossible to answer as you don't know what exact changes have been made but i would appreciate some feedback.

some changes can really affect your rankings... and by the way how old is your site? new site/page usually rank fast and then gone/decline after a few days/weeks..

It could be that you were penalized by google for adding too much content too fast. Read over googles webmaster guidelines and see if you have done anything that Google would penalize.

Google is doing some big changes to it's index, and ranking seems to be fluctuating quite heavily, I believe we will have to give it some time to see how it goes.

i kinda thought the same as pingas

Yeah my positions have changed but didn't expect to not be in top 500 anymore ( although the keywords I ranked high for probably only get used a few times a year ) Was number 1 for one of them so I guess google have penalized me for something. Haven't really added that much new, but my domain links has doubled over past few days , although I didn't have that many to start with, lol. I notice u all seem to be putting a link, i guess you need to have posted a fair few posts or something to get this? I will check googles webmaster guidelines. Thnx for all the responses

missing site map

Have been reading google's webmaster guidelines. It suggests a sitemap, and my site is over 5 months old and doesn't have 1. Could this be the reason my site isn't appearing where it use to on google? Also, if my site has been penalized by google, Is this permanent?

Are you checking in the same country?

For example results on google.com and google.co.uk may differ (But not by 500). Still Google many times throws challenges.

I would also suggest that have patience and keep doing good white hat techniques. In long term it will always help.
