hmm, I have a question then.
I'm currently designing a site and I will have a links section in the site, people will be able to submit the url of their websites. I would then check if they have a recip button or link to me on their site.
But here comes the trouble: I would like to give every one of them a unique id and let them send their links to "http://www.guitarresources.net/refer.php?id=their id number"
That way I can see how many visitors each site has sent to me.
When you say that pagerank only goes up on the page that is linked to you are telling me that by using this system I won't improve the pagerank of my indexpage by using this system.
Is that true?
Or i'm a wrong?
grtz
