Google Home Page Vs Google Search Bar - have YOU noticed the Difference???

Hi All,

Have you noticed the difference when search on the Google UK then search on the Google UK Search Bar?

The Google UK search bar seems to be at least 4 hours ahead of the game, so which one do you trust?

Please let me know why the difference (is it cache related) and which one do you tend to use the most?

I have beenseeing different results...also seeing different results when I google on firefox and IE wierd

i usually clear search history and cookies for more updates results..

Google ha s a distributed database so that it's normal to show different results for different servers.

It's good that there's some variation there - it would be a bit difficult to compete with sites who have been around for over a decade if us new folks didn't occasionally show up higher in SERPs every once in a while.

That's really mind boggling how did it happen since the tool bar is also Google?
