Which would be the better anchor text

Im writing down some notes on a forth coming project and I'm now thinking about the anchor text of the links I'll need to produce to help me on google.

Going back to my last project if I wanted to get found for twenty 20 cricket what anchor text would help me more -

Twenty 20 Cricket or Twenty 20 Cricket Cup

If you wanted to be found for a single keyword dose it matter if your anchor text had more then one word in it as long as it included the keyword you wanted to be found for?

If you want to be found for "cricket", just use "cricket". If you want to be found for "Twenty 20 Cricket", then use "Twenty 20 Cricket".

if you are trying to capture phrases of various difficulty levels and they have overlapping words you may want to start off with the easier (usually longer) version until you start to notice some decent ranking improvements for that term and then go after the more competitive (usually shorter) version
