Losing backlinks in google

I have recently checked the number of backlinks I have using marketleap.com, the numbers from last week to this has decreased by 10 links.

Does anyone know what the latest updates to google's algorithm have been, which sites aren't they counting now?

It could be, I was really looking for possible reasons and this certainly looks like it could be one.

Google has begun minimizing the impact of many Googlebombs or linkbomb refers to a prank where people attempt to cause someone else's site to rank for an obscure or meaningless query

10 links are not much links to worry about. I could be some natural fluctuation

i have the same problem, i had strong 25 links, and now they are gone...

Or maybe the links (backlinks) are no longer exist in Google's index for one reason or another..

or maybe they used "nofollow" to your site...(just checking for more pssibilities...)

I think you need to work for it now, one good thing to do is just continue to build links and your problems will be solved.

same thing happen to my site! recently I have 180k+ backlinks but now its only 80k.
I'm using submit express.

Stop using this forums as a fighting ground dudes. Backlinks can be easily recovered by building links continuously.

Why using any site to check BLs for your site when you can check it directly from Big Daddy Google.
