Google in favour of webmasters

Does anyone think that Google will ever start to like webmaster again, after the last outburst from Google dropping links to stop site ranking in top stop, and now favourng the sites that people search for. will it ever start to ebb back towards the good old days.

I agree! But all the Game play is with fine tuning your Site with the help of SEO. On the other hand Google adds some Life to the Internet World where ups and downs in the Rankings happen. That's the Trick....

Now-a-days links are so cheap. So google changed its algorithm.

I didn't think google favours anything. It's all automatic with no manually editing (or so they say). I think if you have a lot of paid links and irrelevant links/content linking to lots of different stuff (like some webmaster sites do) google see's it as a mess and doesn't rank it as highly, but thats just my opinion and probably isn't true.

Remember, Google used to update once a year, then once a month, now for some sites, pages get indexed within minutes. And just what is happening now, PR was updated once every month since the start of 2008? I am thrilled to see that. There are too many competitors to my site that have been around for years, yet all their products and pages are stuck in 2001. I guess there's pros and cons to everything. But to a new site like mine, I do like the changes.
