John Chow Slapped Harder
JohnChow.com is showing up as a PR3 in many data centers, down another point from the PR4 he was earlier this month. JohnChow.com was a PR6 site about five months ago. This shouldn’t surprise anyone because John continues to sell advertising that passes PageRank. John doesn’t care anymore because his blog is already very popular.

I think by slashing down his PR.......google is helping him becoming more popular,he is discussed everywhere in evry forum........i think he is the highly talked abt blogger in the blogging community..........

Yes...

John Chow site has been penalized for awhile, hell our site got penalized that why were in the process of redesign, installing forums, creating 125 * 125 logos and etc...

Were going to focus more towards the online community part its going to take some traffic thats for damn sure from PPC and etc our site will be based around affiliates, seo and things to that nature.

Its cool to do SEO, but you have to be careful, thats all I'm going to say.

johnchow.com is a great website for webmasters. You find out the about the newest types of advertising, newest advertising companies, traffic meters, etc. I personally think that johnchow.com is the best blog out there for its specific niche!

Its ok to be a fan.

Unfortunately there is way more bigger fishes in the water johnchow lives. As an example you can take shoemoney. ShoeMoney.com gets way more visitors then johnchow.com and his blog entries are much more useful. I don't wanna know how was eating in a Chinese restaurant, which is johnchow writing about a lot these days.

Don't mean to hurt your personal feelings; these are my personal opinions.

Well he loves to make money by being controversial. controversial traffic are not coming from search engine but from blog or social networking sites. and the traffic from that kind of sites could spike quite good.

Google with these penalties are just making web a bitter place. Blog reviews and acknowledgments are one of the simpler things that make your name out to the world. Paid blog reviews are the reasons why we bloggers are online working so hard to maintain a healthy blog. Even v7n community saw the penalty, which is seriously ridiculous.
