Google killed my site

Yeah, thats exactly true. I don't know if it is side effect of google dance (i don't know if it is still going on) google instantly stopped sending traffic to my website.

I was getting around 200 unique website for a micro niche website from all around the world, but one day i realized that visitor number is decreasing and last referred google search was around 16 hours ago. When i check for the google search for my keywords, which i am at first page, i saw that my site is not even at 2nd page.

This kind of thing happened before than i thought it is because of something else and i closed site, than installed wordpress and joomla, after that i decided to open it back with old script and google start to index it pretty fast and 1-2 days later it started to send pretty good amount of visitors to my site. But now, it only sends around 10-20 users every few hours by search results.

I asked it to my friend and he said that why the hell your website doesn't have any backlink, just build some backlinks to your site. Actually there are some websites that gave backlink to me without my knowledge, also they are at same micro niche with me. And my website is also added to DMOZ.

So i will be glad if someone can tell me what can be the reason

what do you mean???.......even having no backlinks for your site your site was on the first page of google........is that possible to get rank well on first page of google withot nay backlink???????

no, i said i have backlinks but i didn`t really work for getting any backlinks. Just few sites gave me backlinks from their own pages.

Also when i check google webmaster tool it says there are 79 websites that links to my website, so i guess also we can count them as backlink

How old is your site?
Maybe it goes to the sandbox?

Just make sure you dont have any DUPLICATE CONTENT on your website

In case you find any remove them immediately.

I'm having similar problems. I used to get about 700 uniques a day, mostly from the states, then google did whatever the hell it is they do an I went from being no 2 to something like 45,000. Other sites vying for my keywords were hurt too. The industry leaders are now ranked 7 and 8 and it's a bunch of jokers above them. I now get maybe one hit a day from former Yugoslavia and I can't figure out why. I have no duplicate content. I write at least once a day, all the posts are linked appropriately. The site's been up for a year now with legit content but the domain was owned long before that. I have nothing else to guess.

... my site now have very bad SERPS ... i hope this just google dance / sandbox ... i still update this site regularly

If your site is just new, it is possible that Google gave you an initial boost in rankings.

It is also a possibility that you are now experienceing the sandbox effect - google's way of filtering new sites.

It is also a possibility that the keyword you ranked for isn't that popular, hence the decrease in traffic.

Or your competition are doing their SEO better than you. The possibilities goes on...

What you should do now is to just continue on building quality backlnks and hope that your ranking picks up again soon.

Google does not kill sites, web masters do. google is just a machine.

Good, unique and useful content should be your top concern prior to building links

This would greatly help also in paving for organic and natural linking from other sites once they see value on your site.

The SERPs are all over the place. Wait a few days and see what happens. Often they come back.
