Duplicate content

I have a blogger account that I publish to the back end of my retail website, and in the last month I had set up a new url and reposted my blog entries to the new url in order to have some content there. My question is, could this hurt the pr of the blog on the back end of the retail site? I ask because it dropped from 2 to 0 today.

I plan on moving my blog to the new url this week. Also, should I just leave the old blog pages in place behind the retail url or delete them?

Any advice is appreciated.

You should do a 301 permanent redirect for all your blog entries and have the old urls pointed to the new ones. Research 301 redirect and see all the related issues. Anyway, changing urls is tricky. If done right, everything will be passed on to the pages under the new urls. However, if not done right, the value of the old pages will be lost. 301 redirect has something to do with your features supported by your web host. Not all web servers support 301 redirect by default. Good luck!

i do have a question on duplicate content ...
I run ten web store, all with similar layout (different graphics), same script and same domain (under different subdomain) but different product, will this consider duplicate content (content mostly from ebay, amazon API) ?
