Google in Desperate Attempt to Monetize YouTube
Google seems to be in a Desperate Attempt to Monetize YouTube. After spending quite a bit of money to buy youtube, now they are launching an API to allow users access to YouTube library. Earlier they have started selling ads on youtube videos. Its gonna be interesting to watch what else they do.

I think Youtube commercials are spams and annoying and should not rank in Google index.

I used to have the Adsense related You Tub widget on my site but took it off after a week or two. I found that after the person played the first video related to my site's topic, then they were offered to play from a list which was totally off topic for my site.

Very disappointing.

Yeah, you're right lately lot of youtube videos are showing up in search results which is pretty annoying. If i wanted to search for a video i'd do a video search.
