Site Not Ranked from 2 Years

Hello Forum members

I have one site www dot losangeles-hollywood-hotels dot com. We are working on this site from last 2 years but this site not getting ranking on any keywords from last 2 years.

We have done all sorts of seo on this site but this site is not ranking. It has 3 PR also, but i am unable to find out any reason for non ranking.

Can anybody help me in sortig this problem

we are checking check ranking from Software "WPG". Also we are checking manually.

try to submite ur website in yahoo derictories, etc, also read tips in google webmaster. Also i had read sometime ago that google black lists some websites, n they will have to be submitted again...

You have only 200 backlinks from different domains.
If you type hollywood hotels on Google you will see that you are compeeting with Marriott, Yahoo Hotels, Renissance and others who got millions backlinks. Build more links, get publicity, promote as hell and maybe you will rank better for some long keywords.

Actually themes like travel has a big competition. You should have to make your website with the proper web marketing analysis and to check what strategy is your competitors are having on the website.

I suggest -
1) Make some press releases and submit it on PR websites.
2) Make articles and spread them on relevant article sources.
3) Get links from relevant and quality travel websites. I am sure, there are many new travel websites who like to link with you.
4) Try PPC on weekly basis on different keywords/ phrases.

and also I recommend some useful changes at your website also like check this - "Los Angeles Hotels | Hollywood Hotels" these 2 links will give me the same stuff.

Or Meet some expert SEO company to make it out for you.

Again. You got only 200 backlinks in 2 years. It mean that you was building only 1 backlink every 3-4 days. Websites like Marriott are getting 25-30 backlinks every day. http://technorati.com/search/www.marriott.com

Try to get at least 3 quality backlinks each day and in next 2 years you will have 2000 backlinks and it will be enough to rank well.

It seems that you need to focus on link building. You need to have more backlinks on your site.

You can also target some long-tail keywords if you think you can't go for that very large keyword competition. But still build a quality and relevant link and content.

I think you are not follow the right strategy for rankings in search engines, 2 years are much time for SEO rankings and satisfactory traffic through the website.

You have very few backlinks so try to increase them.

Create new pages for website with effective content with the use of targeted keywords.

Do Social Bookmarking for direct traffic on your website and this way your one way links also increase.

Try to promote your site better, long tail KWs first but don't forget the short one. It is easy to rank in a long tail KW then when you get it target the short one. Also focus in different link building activity for better ranking.

First of all you promote your site with less competitive keywords till that your site in SERPs
Then promote your site with high competitive keywords
