Question Is this Google info correct? Regarding CMS
I received information about a up coming change in Google that I need to know if it is correct or not.

It is about CMS ( content management system ).

I was told that ( soon ) Google will give higher SE ranking to a web sit done in database then one done say ( examples ) in FP or DW or even in FTP ( word ).

That Google is going to be ranking the platform used to build the site.

How correct is this info?

I looked into Joomla and.... yuck!

I was asked not to tell as it is not public knowledge yet - however I know us web people can get information earlier then some, so I was wondering if anyone else heard about this.

No joomla is for free ---- but I strongly dislike it.

Just a normal CMS question - would ftp be considered a good CMS - or does only database type work come under CMS?

Totally incorrect, there is no way google would know if a site is static or dynamic unless specifcally indicated by the website itself.

Agreed. Google wants content - it doesn't care whether you've done it in HTML, PHP/MySQL, ColdFusion or even TXT

Explain more please...... most CMS are free or MUCH cheaper. How do we KNOW it is approved by google and it is the ONLY one?
