Sites in Sig link may not have Adsense??????
I found this posted elsewhere and I wonder what you think.

The way I read it you may NOT promote a site in your sig link if it has adsense on the site.

What do you think?

I have never had a problem and I have hundreds of links in sig files to my sites?

But I guess you never know when google will cancel an account either. It sounds like they are more worried about people saying "click my ad" than how you link to it.

Having your site in the signature is not against the TOS but people usually play safe to avoid being click bombed

Nothing special about sig-links. It is prohibited to invite visitors to use google-adds on you website.
for example. Your website is about product A and you have google referral for selling Product A.
You can advertize your website like "Go to .... and read about Product A", but it is prohibited to say "Go to ... where you can buy Product A".

This was clarified after I posted.

There is some form of referal program that I do not use and any form of promotion for a site using that program is banned. That includes sig links as we understand it.

This does not apply to the adsense for content or Google search programs.
