I just searched google for links going to my site and guess what there are 210 all thanks to the Webmaster-Forums. I just want to say thank you to all you guys for getting me in this position and helping me out on the way. I hope I will be able to continue posting and gain an even better knowledge of webmastering.

I'm under the impression that forum sigs are not to be considered as quality backlinks - low link-weight, and not related content. Still, everything little thing helps.

However, the sig links in WMF were cut out by a script when I was last on that site, and sig links are missing from the archive here. I suspect that any such WMF backlinks will therefore soon be dropped from Google's index.

Yeah the vast majority of that 210 are from WMF but I'm sure my links from here will build up.

Then, I just want to ask if these links here in the sig will be cut off as well, just like done at WMF, or are people allowed to keep their links, and gain PR from them this time?

To my knowledge, we won't be using that script here. You will keep your links.
