Does your domain name effect your Google Adsense ads?

For some odd reason my website isn't displaying adsense ads that I would consider relevant to my website. I'm beginning to think that it could have something to do with the domain I chose. Anyone else having this problem?

I don't think so. Because in any website we can place adsense. Please contact the support of adsense so that your problem can resolved or else you can easily find where the problem is occuring.

Detecting your content sometimes takes some time. And I would not be surprised if it fails to detect the content for any category; after all its does automatic.

you have to let the adsense bot knows what topic you are trying to promote with at the first place to get the relevancy to an acceptable manner.

you can do this with your titles, h1's and content. though metas and url's can also play a big role, as well as your directory linking structure must also be topical, this is also known as NAVIGATION or categories for blogs

AdSense works on the content of your page.
It will match or relate phrases to everything on your page, not just the domain.

I would say NO. Adsense base their Ads through the content of your site.
