Google - Worst Customer support
Don't know how Google manages to remain no.1 despite a worst customer support provider.
1) My ADWORDS ADs stopped working one day. After repeatedly sending emails, after 10 days finally got an email telling that I need to send a photo ID to activate my account. (Why can't they send me a notification before deactivating my account?). They care to send a message only after repeat reminders from me, and that too after 10 days.
2) Did not receive adsense check. Raised 2 complaints, so far no message back from them.
3) Was not able to login to adsense (Just login issue, not account banning), and using support form, sent my query, never got a response back.
4) Found out a major bug in gmail in attachment management, send a report, and as usual no response back.
5) While every company aspires to provde a 24*7 support, google wants to enjoy a 5 day week, at the cost of creating losses to customers.
6) You can never see customer support phone number for ADWORDS. It is only emails or chats.
Over all, it is 8th wonder of the world that a company like google became a leader in internet world with its attitude.
Innovation helps, but if the customers are put at loss like this, soon google will loose its respect and market place.

In their attempts to automate everything, they take the human element out for the sake of increased profits. This is so common today, and seems to especially involve larger companies, which can often leave the door wide open for smaller companies that are more nimble and responsive.

yeah with that kind of support they will sooner or later lose their customer loyalty...eventually people will switch to other companies and google may lose to their competitors!

Yup, maybe later but for now they are still No.1 and we don't have any choice! All we have to do is to follow the flow and continue analyzing to gain profit!

Oh yeah, Google support is terrible... just barely better than Amazon.
I got banned from the Adsense program a couple years ago for apparently clicking my own links (which I didn't!) and sent in dozens of emails asking for an explanation or help or just anyone!
Nothing but auto responses.

Combined with the worst search results we are getting lately...
I'll say; Google is freaking me out.
I start looking for something I need on page 5 or even 10
Lately I noticed that listed sites have nothing to do with subject and only come up on page #1 because someone have using keywords as a bate
Reporting spam to Google is total waste of time because there is no reaction and
Spamming pages stay in there for good month after month after month.
I am reporting such a spam to Google for a year now at least once per month and..
you guessed it, the spam site is still there

That's where they are really good at. To make people freak out.
Just a single change in algo can make us all freak out...
We'll we just have to deal with it though.

I actually had great service with their analytics customer support. Talked to a live person right away.

I would have to agree that their support is severely lacking. When you contact Yahoo's publisher support team you get a quick response to the issue and they attempt to quickly solve the problem at least for me. With Google you are lucky to get a response in a couple weeks. I actually had sent them an e-mail that went unanswered for some time and about 3 weeks after the fact they replied to it, but by this time the problem was no longer an issue and I had switched the site to Yahoo's ads, less relevance, but at least they were working.

Seems to be the norm with their service. For Google it seems to be about the Stock price which will tank one of these days if they keep up their poor customer service.

Look at it this way guys, we need to pay them first before they make a move! That's my opinion though

Google is #1 because of its quality (relatively speaking) search results. People like what Google pops out. Unless they start jacking around with that, then its unlikely that google will be going anywhere.
The adsense side of things is an entirely different matter. Though, you would hope that they would at least try to resolve customer complaints/issues.

Unfortunately this has been an issue for a long time now and I doubt they will do anything to fix the issue anytime soon as long as they are number one.

Customer´s support quality is directly proportional to your spent with them. If you spend enough you have a team of 3 or 4 people available.

Well in my part i think their CS is not that bad at all... Although some of my request and questions had their response a bit of delay(1-2 days), but still at least i receive a reply from them. Anyway, just understand them, Google is yet a big company and many people all over the world try to reach them. Imagine, a billion of emails, requests, etc were deliver to them simultaneously. So give them a credit.
