Maintain my pagerank?

Hi all,
My site, http://www.younghistorians.com currently has a pagerank of 5/10...im pretty proud of this considering the fact that I have done absolutely nothing to better or maintain it before now. Now, I see that thats pretty decent considering the sites lack of content, and id really like to maintain this rank.

What do you suggest I do?

Would my current spread across forum sigs, guestbooks, freelance sites, and other general communities still help?
For instance, if you search for younghistorians on google ( http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...ns&btnG=Search ), my site is first, followed by a couple hundred forum registrations by me.

for a while it could, but if that is the bulk of your link popularity then it will eventually be discounted.
