My PR has been updated and some of my pages are PR3, my home page is PR1, while others have no PR.

I'm not complaining, bust wondering how it works. I don't understand why is my home page is PR1 while other internal pages are PR3, when my home page has the most external links by far.

Don't worry, give it some time and a couple more updates. This happens sometimes with new sites that are being discovered and indexed by Google. In the main time keep promoting your site.

I'm not worried, but I just started paying attention to Page Rank and I'm still trying to understand how it works. Everyone seems to be under the impression that it has only to do with backlinks, but based on the pages within my site that have PR3 as opposed to PR1 or no PR at all, I have to believe that there's more to it than that. Traffic? Keywords? Something about the content? I don't know.

By the way, my site has existed since 1996. It's just no one, including myself, has paid any attention to SEO before now.

all in all not bad 2 sites up in ranking, 2 sites unchanged and 1 site down by 1

wow I went from a PR0 to a PR0 and a lot of my pages still not indexed after 3 months up now. 682 google backlinks to my homepage. Is this standard for new sites? Site is 3 months old, domain is over a year

The Biggest Boards went from a pr0 to a pr3. only up for 2 months we are very happy with the first rating being that high. Hopefully the next will be a 4 or 5 at the pace people are submitting to the directory and participating on the site. Very cool.

from my understanding a solid blue bar means not indexed yet. your homepage is a solid blur bar. Your blog page which says under construction on it has an empty white bar which means pr0

I just noticed that my site just increased it's PR and backlinks this day and the result is opposite with my blogs..
