It's because that is the time to see all the hard works in seo. What ever happens, whether it is a positive or negative effect to your site, you'll do the hardwork again to achieve a higher PageRank! You do SEO ryt? You should know that.

Awhile ago i checked my rankings in google. It's on top 4. After an hour i was surprised to see that from top 4 my rankings fall down into top 15.

is there anything we can do to stop this thing? Or just to avoid this. Please help!

Just check your comptetiors ranking and see how they are performing, if they are also downsided than may be there is some change in google optimizaiton algorithm, if not than i think you should check your site for keyword stuffing or keyword Spamming.If you give your site url than we will be able to provide more beneficial help.

this happened to us as well, we were 19th, then refreshed and we were 3rd, later on we were 19th again

I'm also experincing dropping of keywords. Last week, it has a good serp ranking but nows ome of my keywords dropped it's ranking.

it is not google dance, you are just experiencing fluctuation on your keywords, it is normal!

I see fluxuations in specific key words when I am concentrating on them. It's like Google does not know what to do with your website for a while. I see it as a cross between a big bump up and not being listed. Then hours later I'll go stable. Sometimes up, usually the same.
