Ads and SEO

How can adsense or overture be utilised best with SEO of a site that currently has way below ranking for particular keyword? What are the specific advantages of these vis SEO ?

pay per click has faster feedback loops and costs way less than building a huge site. it can be used to prototype stuff.

Google AdWords can be used to split A/B test different landing pages. tons of advantages. I couldn't list them all.

believe it or not there is not a whole bunch of good free info on the web for pay per click stuff. most people would rather tell you to use a second rate engine so they can get a signup commission vice pointing you to google adwords (where they do not make profits).

currently I am still revising the pay per click section of my site. give me about 2 days and it should be done.

I recommend using Overture or Google AdWords off the start.

Believe it or not there is a lot you can learn about these services on the respective Web sites. You should try the Overture and Adword sites.

Thanks ... I didn't think about them because I just assumed they wouldn't have mentioned any SEO advantages ... a stupid assumption, come to think of it ...

as far as pure seo goes they do not help much

they really allow you to test stuff quickly though and get decent exposure quickly.

Oh ok. For me, that comes under SEM and not SEO.
