why spammers keeps submitting their sites to my blog

Hello,

I have one Wordpress blog and there is one site keeps submitting spam comments at every post. I never accept it but they keep commenting.

My question is: can their websites get any benefit in terms of SEO when they keep commenting and never get approved?

There's no benefit, but they don't care. If 1 in a hundred get through, they'll take it. They are a bunch of losers.

These people work out of china. They get paid to do it.

To stop him spamming on your site, moderate the comment on your blog. He is just keep on submitting useless comment because he knows that your site is not moderated.

You should monitor the origin of these spams. If it's all from the same area or IP, just ban it. You can also use Akismet for Wordpress, it helps quite a bit in getting rid of spams before you even see it!

Definitely none, but if their comments are approve, then, it's a benefit for them. Regardless, if your blog is a follow or no follow.

They always use different IPs every time they submit spam comments.
Is there a better way to ban? there is no way to ban a url, isn't it?

sometimes we have several hundred attempts at this per day.

the comments are moderated and they never get through, but still they keep trying. what a waste of their time.

and the comments too, absolute gibberish. you would think they would at least use real words and try and make it look half sensible.

They thought that comments are helpful specially if it's a do follow.
Traffic and links is what matters to them.

There is a code to disable comments from the database table. But blog without comments is not ....
