I have seen PR chanegs on a number of my sites and backlinks have all gone up.
Over the last 6-7 weeks I have a marked increase in google bot traffic across my sites as well.

did PR just updated?

i think i got PR 0 on my web site [link removed]...

wtf?

i have around 100 uniques links and like 2 or 3 outgoing links... alot of content and some visitors

any idea what has just happened :S

and why didn't some pages get PR and some did :S ?

It's all about links, links and links... Gather more quality and relevant links.. Just don't stop building links...

Google has started updating PR in segments so not all websites PR's will be updating at once.

Google seem to be doing the PR update in parts now. Major update was done like a month now.

but i have alot of links! i mean ok, maybe not enought for PR 4, maybe not even for PR 3...

but it should be definitly enough for PR 2... :S

I thought a month a go that it happened. Now I understand that it updates every time - constantly without pauses and breaks

but how long does it take between each update on one web page?

i guess noone knows

but PR does not mean much actually as it seem :S i got PR0, but yet, i have no.1 position in google on most of my keywords

so i don't worry much about PR

I was surprised when i read in different forums that their site's PR was increased. I don't know in my site. It's still the same.

because site's backlinks is not enough that's why it didn't get any PR, just focus on getting more quality backlinks, then wait for the next PR update by Google!

The most important thing is "stop worrying about PR" and dig gold (links i mean).

Does google worry about just links on your webpage to other pages, or just backlinks to your page?

both... less external links and more internal links, the better..

Google generally update their PR data after every 3-4 month, so keep getting good inbound links to get higher PR.

Are you sure your backlink is dofollow? If the backlink is nofollow, then you wouldnt get any PR juice. By the way, i think you might need to wait until oct for the google next update
