How to delist a fradulent company from Google ?

Hi,

I came across couple of posts from other forum and i noticed that there is one company out there which is bluntly lieying . And there is considerable opposition to that also. Someone is also putting up a webpage at www.geocities.com/liar_accu to make everyone aware.

Can anyone suggest how to delist this company from google to make this effort make impact on that company, caz everyone is not going to see before they buy hosting from them.

Any suggestion will be forwarded to them to help them out.

you cant usually get a site delisted from google. especially if they just ripped you off.

what exactly is onmove? moveon is cool...

I do not have anything to do with them. I just saw the site and i thought it is outrageous for a hosting company to lie at that far point. We all are making honest effort to earn more customers and this kind of few bad apples are making the whole industry bad.

So i thought that all honest hosting people should contribute to this effort. And i thought if we can suggest some solution then it will be good help to this folks who are fighting with this crooks.

The other option is that we can sit and watch what is happening and do nothing until regular people thinks that Web hosting companies are 90% crooks.

Choice is in our hands !!

well since many hosting sites are crooks it is not an invalid opinion. it is hard to find good hosting.

I think onmove is probably a bad site name since moveon already exists...they should probably pick a more original sounding name before they actively promote that site

im missing the point here obviously - why is the hosting so bad - and why r u so bothered about it you think you should try get it banned from google?

Its probably nothing to do with the hosting, otherwise he will be complaining about thousands of hosts. Its probably a personal grudge or something.

Well Guys,

You show me the web hosting company that is bluntly lieying like this and you will see what happens to them. furthermore if it would have been my personal problem i will not discuss it here. I WILL TAKE CARE ON MY OWN.
It is different for me since i do not want to sit and blame a person who is fighting just to keep the water clean in which we all live and that is why there are thousands of hosts that no one is compaining about.
It happens all the times we think that it does not touch us so why bother but i does. And we all should be concerned about it. It is same like the global warming, we think that it is a matter limited to the activists but only an activist understand what he is doing is nothing personal but he is carrying the burden of his own intelligence and he cannot stand when something is going wrong infront of his own eyes.

You can judge me the way you want but there will some people who will join in many other ways in this fight and will try to keep the water clean.

If you guys have any bad hosting companies similar to these, send me the details. I would prefer to fight then to sit at home and blaim someone.

You should have seen my website theme before blaiming me. I clearly say "It is a FRESH breeze in hosting industry", caz i feel that there is lots of polution in this industry.

If I think something is really bad then I let the world know. Not with forum post per say, but with directories or sites or posts on my own sites.

For example:

Black Hat SEO - directory of products or services which I generally do not recommend.

Paxil Side Effects - allows people to leave their opinion about how paxil has effected their lives. they can post it right into the page. if you search google for paxil side effects you will see my page listed in the first results page.

enough feedback from the Paxil Side Effects caused more concern on my behalf and so I created a site similar to that post, but for all the major SSRIs Depression Blog

there are tons of ways you can let people know about bad hosting.

Obviously there is a conflict an interests when the guy who is promoting hosting is trying badmouth another hoster.

So i would not trust his message anyway.

If all the web hosting companies do not work to cleanup the industry then it will happen like this. And i will have to tell you all who think that i should not protest this then i think you all are on less moral highground then i am..

Atleast i have a satisfaction that i am not turning my eyes away. But what you all are doing is just to sit there and blaim me. And i am sure none of you have visited the page www.geocities.com/liar_accu where it is clearly posted how this host is cheating.

It is hard my friends to fight and it is very easy to suspect the messenger. God will give you some fair understanding.

Somehow i feel it's 2 different things.
In one case the guy was cheated out of money and complained. It's in my opinion 100% legit.
In your case you just saying that they are bad because they lie about the date company was created, based on when their domain name is registered (They could have used different domain name). And also because they put couple of awards logos on their screen with out links. So what. May be they created those awards and gave them to themselves.
Even if they stole awards logos. So what. I guess those who give awards request money to review the submitted site. So this poor guy is trying to beat the system. Not to cheat money out of the people. And i would say it's totally legit.

Like some of you would start screaming "SPAM, SPAM" when they see the page with 100 phrases. I would say it's a marketing page. As long as search for "UNIX hosting" does not land you on a porn site it's all marketing. It does not matter that you got there through doorway with a thousands "UNIX hosting" on it.
