Smarter Backlink Detection
Looks like Google is getting slighlty smarter in terms of listing backlinks. Have seen several examples where it list the backlinks from Redirect scripts.

Google used to link over 300 backlinks to my site, now it's 59. The other links are still there, of course, it's just that Google seems to be changing its rules.

many of the people here are extremely aggressive with getting links. unless you are renting links, or registering your site with tons of directories, or writing tons of articles that get syndicated everywhere, or swapping tons of links it is hard to keep up with some of the members here.

You might try an affordable run of service ad. Some are fairly inexpensive and can give you thousands of links. I don’t have any space left but some directories are reasonable in price.

What's the secret to getting backlinks?
I do it, but it takes forever. Do you know of a program that easily adds links to your page (not Link Manager) manually, because a lot of sites require that you already have a link on your site before they put a link on their site.
I'm basically looking for a program --maybe php--that easily updates my site so I can add links on the fly, as opposed to manually updating through Frontpage.

I went from nearly 100 to 0.
I have confirmed that I have backlinks with PR4 and above, but I now have a PR of 0
Hopefully it'll change back soon.
I'll look into that director script....thanks
