based on your same reasoning I could say that the Yahoo! directory listing is the single most important element to a top Google ranking. but I do not aim to misinform people.

I got a site that is not in google directory and its

number 1 for "florida keys vacation rantals"
number 2 "florida vacation rentals"
number 17 for "vacation rentals"

actually now that I am checking a lot of my sites arn't in the google directory

oh wait I forgot I stopped submitting to dmoz

I got a lot more i can list ,

number 1 for "jazz mp3s" not in google directory

number 1 for "florida keys fishing" not in

number 2 for "key west florida" not in

unfortunatly my homepage is , but I could keeep going

Wozza unlike politicians a truly greater guy can admit he is wrong by weighing up both sides of the argument. There is a wealth of experience in this forum and many more hours of research than you will achieve in a lifetime.

Google SEO is not about DMOZ or directories its about inbound links, link text and a well written html title tag can sometimes help.

I am not always correct when I post, but I can admit it when I am wrong.
