As Google is getting smarter at spotting black hat SEO techniques its better not to use them.This black hat techniques may help in getting in top google SERP's but if caught google may punish by decreasing the backlinks,Page Rank, or even ban the site.

blackhat is called blackhat because its illegal ( mostly in the google sense ).
Its stating the obvious when ppl are posting "its not right, or its immoral etc".

But black hat does work for some people and although those people are few and far between, multi millions have been made by individuals over night.

Another one is: negative SEO: duplicate content using proxy sites or ip changers and duplicating big traffic sites. Google gets confused as to which is the real on and which is the fake one. Its good to use on competition etc.
