Black and White image PS quick help !!

I have a image with either kind of gray and really gray lines. I need to make this into pure black. So afterward, i can print it in pure black and white. Is there a way to enhance the gray into black?

You can try Levels or Curves in Image>Adjuments - both of which will lets you work the blacks, midtones and highlights in rgb blend or individual channels.

Adjustment levels definitely worked.

It has one more problem though. I need to make the curves of each number and lines smooth to the degree of vector lines. Is there any way to do that with PS or Flash?

As of right now, the curves and lines are so screwed up that the "e" looks like a black spot.

Trying to modify old graphics usually doesn't give you a satisfactory result. Why not just create a new one?

Given the image, any type of smoothing will likely do more harn than good as you'll lose a lot of fine details and some of the equations might get warped and ugly and ultimately, unreadable.
