Still having flash button problems...

I have had help with this problem previously....

I am using an action script with a flash button...the page its on is

www.sof2inventory.com/page6.htm

I checked the syntax of the script and it seems to have no errors....
but here it is anyway...

ok i changed the url to
http://www.sof2inventory/page6.htm/button.swf..

didn't do anything diferent....

it opens a new window and the error message i get is 404 file not found....
the file is in the same directory as the button and the page 6...wich is in my _parent folder....

In your code _parent stands for the window that the page is to open up in. You are telling it to open up in a the main window of a frameset.

Fixed your code.

ok i changed it to blank....

It still dosen't seem to do anything when i press it....


what should the html look like for the web page?

right now it says:

i used your script and it didn't work at first.....I noticed that the script i got from you was giving me two addresses....ex
/www.sof2inventory.com/www.sof2inventory.com/

then i realized that there wasn't a (http://) in front of the address gave in the script....I added that after it didn't work an presto....I achieved my first file download button....
