This image is not a photograph
A member in another forum shared this this morning and I thought this bunch might enjoy this illustration also:

A completely digital work of art.

That's some incredible work. Doing the math, the artist worked on it for an average of about 45 hours per week for the eleven months it took to complete it. Amazing.

This is created by a Japanese designer purely on photoshop

Doing photorealistic raster paintings or vector art is a double edged sword. Often people think it's a "manipulated photo" or they claim it's "not painterly" or that famous one "why don't you take a photo". All very tiring responses. Here's one more photorealistic painting of an aging water bomber. NOT A PHOTO, but a digital painting.

Taking each details can really make an interesting and quality product. Those images can be another promise for filming industry since they can actually create some backgrounds from mere computer graphics.

I'll throw one more in the mix of photorealistic digital art. This digital painting is referenced from my garden.

I think Bert Monroy uses Photoshop, not sure what the camera was drawn with. For the two I posted I used Xara vector and some paint brushes by Ulead.

Well, the photos are really beautiful, they did a great job repainting and re-retouching it. The panoramic is just nice and great. Regards, Demi, [url removed]
