ok... I am sick of there being nothing to talk about in here... So.... just cusious as to what everyone charges on Logos.... trying to get conversation started in here.... Help me out here pimp....

I read this in a book, it says to charge by experience, not by the hours.

In short, that means about $25.00 USD for a logo.

This graphic forum seems dead. I said before there should periodic stickies involving ps etc.; no one took it on board. The mods should also start things involving various aspects of GD, otherwise it'll end up buried.

I was talking to someone who charged 1,200 for a logo.. and he was just a web designer.... that is really high correct???? He didn't know too much about graphic design... He was hiring graphic designers to do logos cause he didn't know how...

Yes $1200 is a lot. You can get pretty good logos for around $100 now

$1,200.00 is low for a corporate logo. I typically charge around $2,500.00 USD for Corporate logos.

My clients are happy to pay it. Big companies will never buy a logo for $100 - $150 range unless it's a new marketing manager just out of college.

Anyone can do a logo that looks cool. But for a logo to fit a company brand it takes time, research and several meetings with the client to understand their business to be able to create a great logo that not only look good but a logo that has branding and meaning.

For small companies I typically charge around $150.00 and at times I give them away for free for people just getting started.
