It's pretty good, maybe add some quirkyness to the house. Bare in mind all the other rent type site logos.

I actually like it... I would maybe suggest making the font a bit bigger... and instead of a house, maybe a more appartment look?

It says apartment search, but that is a house. (Edit - thebassman beat me to it.)
It looks like there should be a window or something on the house. Just something simple to break up all the blank space.

Hehe... I beat ya, Sara. I think maybe a more vertical look might work for ya... like a 4 story apartment w/ windows or something...

I'd try having 2 or 3 skyscraper style buildings instead of the house.
edit: beaten.

Yea. More like just a big rectangle with some squares on it as windows. Keeping it simple like the house.

Looks good but I would get rid of the gradient. It will make it harder to print.

Ditto. It has to be rectangle to say apartment. I think the windows are a must, too
