Help with photoshop
Hi, I am seriously real newbie with p/s . I had help in figuring out how to seperate and image using i forget which tool to select it then it dleted the other one and kept one I seclected using the crop option. Now when I try to make the bg transparent it deletes the layer with item I want and doesnt change the bg. I think I used the new layer from bg option and then did it that way. The layer is locked so I forget how I got around it becuase I cant unluck it. Can somebody hopefully make since of this and tell me step by step what to do and rember I dont know what all tools are andwhat they are called and where or what to click on.

Here you go. Please tell me step by step if you can what to do. I greatly appreciate the help.
Also if you could is there anyway to take an image an turn it any way you want after dragging it into another one?

Oh you wanna have him try and explain how to get layer visibility switched on to you, damn, it's like he's speaking Russian.
I just ran that through my translator and it burped it straight back.

Original
Open the image in PS... click Filter... Extract (or Alt+Ctrl+X)...
Step1
highlight the surrounding areas of the image with your cursor...
Step2
then on the left, click the paintbrush image and select the image you want to keep
Step3
press OK... now your image as an invisible background :-D
Final
edges look sloppy b/c i was in a hurry
