Here's an attempt to weed out you logo designers, how many of you guys actually do it for a living, how many do it as a hobby or just because you're cheap skates who dont want to pay $xxxx for a professional logo done?

Mind sharing some of your designs? come on don't be shy, lets see some of your work!

Here are a some of mine (would love to type up a description explaining each but I just can't be bothered right now, if you have questions feel free to ask!);

PS. some of these arnt the finished products so you might catch me out on kerning quirks and so on

if you do, bite me!

I love the "death-odometer". I would love to know who wanted that done, and what they were advertising. Life insurance maybe?

Hey bro, the Death logo was actually never used, it's an unsold concept I am holding onto till it finds a home, it was a concept I had in mind and cooked up myself so fellow designers wouldn't nab the concept themselves. It has found it's fair share of fame and been featured on a number of logo design sites/blogs/shocases, so has my Time logo, and Elle Hive logo from the selection above.

Some that saw it mentioned it looked like an odometer and others thought slot machines. death being a predictable gamble or the long road traveled to the inevitable....it's art - it stirs the imagination as one could take many connotations from it. It's also simple, dark and just lush eh?

The ones done for clients from the selection above are polo/time/imitacion/fast pengu/elle hive.

It's a WIP actually has been for some time, I never seem to get round to finishing some of my logos. It's intended to be used for a friends small modern art gallery in Brooklyn.

Ah, the good ol oldies!

and they're not really 'clever' as much as memorable/popular logos that used negative space before people/designers caught onto it.

Like my Elle Hive logo for example, an E and a H. Also, birds eye view, mark/neg space forms the silhouette of a Tractor so to speak - Elle Hive is a compact utility tractor designer. Something that seems completely simple to some, took days and days to tailor as per the clients needs.

side note: I read that thread earlier and did not comment as I felt what i had to say would go unheard, those posting in there were more geared towards tap dancing and cheering each other on with the average v7n reply manner of "great' "omg dood thats hawt" "yes i like very much" "keep it going good job yes ok" "all your baby milk is belong to us" and so on

so I dont end up posting more logos though, feel free to have a look around one of my public portfolios on LogoPond, clicking on the logos will usually bring up a description and so on.

Very great work. I've seen some of your works as well before and you really have that hand on this kind of thing.
